Viladia is... well, picture at first a deep-sea mermaid. However, her lower half is not that of a fish, but rather a Vampire Squid,Vampyroteuthis infernali. Her upper half is humanoid, but very inhuman, all the same.
Long, trailing tentacles thread from the skirt of her body, lined with two dwindling rows of spikes. The soft, slick skin bells upwards into wide hips adorned with rounded fins. Her body here is often a dark red fading to black, but can be anywhere from a pallid or flushed fleshtone, to an absolute black (depending on her mood). A velvet corset cinches her petite, hourglass waist and tapering torso, fluting upwards beneath a heavy, and dramatically lifted bust. She wears a tiny,puff-sleeved bolero, the edges trimmed in ornate gothic lace that rises in a frill around her neck. Her limbs are long and thin beneath satin opera gauntlets, ending in a webbed hand with diminutive digits, each tipped in a short, sharp, clear nail. A simple black ribbon choker adorns her long, slender throat. Her mouth is tiny and pursed in a constant smirk, and her eyes are wide and far apart, blue and bearing no visible pupil or iris... they look like transparent orbs. It's dark around them.
Her 'hair' is instead a curled mass of shiny tentacles twisted and coiffed upwards into a somewhat subdued 18th century pattern. Tipped off to the side and almost covering one eye, she wears a fascinator with an abalone shell base, and a live nautilus atop it, trailing its tentacles down.
She carries with her a parasol that is actually an unfortunate jellyfish, and a fan made of...lacquered fan coral. She cannot speak or communicate outside of small noises (often scoffs), and this suits her just fine. Yes, she's a little damp and slippery, but come now, that's not so bad.
