Tosh is a male, anthropomorphic jackal. Unlike the god Anubis though, his lower body is not that of a human. That is to say, it is covered with fur. At least the visible parts of it, as a white, simple loincloth, which he is usually wearing, covers some bits - no telling what lies hidden underneath.
His short fur is light gray, but when it reflects light, there are glints of all the other colours, and his chest has a shade closer to white. There are no loose or randomly standing out hair, so his whole figure looks very smooth.
His body is well muscled but not really bulging, making him rather slim with his height of about 6 feet. The impression is increased by thin, long ears pointing up. His 3 feet tail, is in contrast is very thick with fluffy fur.
Although his seemingly thoughtful eyes have black irises, trying to look menacing, his face as a whole has a rather playfully mischievous look to it.
Tosh is also seen in his armour from time to time (indicated by a capital T in his nick). It is a sort of a closely fitting plate armour covering his whole body and giving it a robotic look, except sometimes he has the helmet removed, revealing his not-so-robotic head. The armour is curved almost exactly in the same places as its user, although the joints stand out a bit. Its colour is that of silver, only without the gloss. It would look like a bigger, more muscled version of Tosh himself, but it hasn't got fur.
