Red, gold, orange and yellow blend in a fiery conflagration of colors on this unusually designed, young creature. Legendary firebird and powerful dragon combined to create an unusual hybrid in a mix of feathers and scales. The young creature stands nearly six feet tall from head to claw, with a crest of bright red feathers that stands to attention when riled. His face is a mix of the two breeds, with a long wolf-like muzzle ending in a black pad for his nose.
Numerous fangs line the inside of his snout, usually carrying a fearsome but warm grin. Sharp eyes peer out from the brilliant plumage with an intense stare.
Travelling down the long neck, one comes to see the thin but wiry form of an athlete. The creature's body is built to look lightweight, but the ropy muscles that stretch under his flesh lend surprising strength to the young beast. Bright, golden scales cover his chest and abdomen, running from the base of his neck down to cover his inner thighs and groin. Fiery feathers cover his back and shoulders, ending at the base of his spine with a long, powerful dragon's tail that measures as long as he is tall, though the tail is generally framed by the brilliant plumage of his wings.
His scaled arms terminate in five-fingered hands, each one topped with a fierce, white talon, while his powerful, back-canted legs are covered with feathers that bring to mind a roaring flame travelling down almost to the ground. His scaled feet have four toes each, three in front and one vestigial that sticks out from his feathers, each one topped with a shiny, white claw. The powerful wings of his back are as feathered as his legs, usually folded lightly to his back, but can wrap around him like a cape to complete the illusion of a pillar of flame.
To cover his body, the beast wears light, silk clothing that whispers and ruffles in the breeze. The soft, grey shenti covers his legs from the waist to where the scales begin on his feet, and a sleeveless tunic of the same coloring covers his chest and shoulders. Strips of steely grey cloth wrap tightly around his hands and his forearms, and a black sash wraps tightly around his waist, keeping everything together.
