Personality: Surprising, considering his size and strength, he is actually quite submissive and timid. Due to unpleasant experiences in the past, he often comes off as nervous, jumpy, and forgiving almost to the point of annoyance. As a more primitive sort of dragon, he has no magical abilities, and was often looked down upon in his youth by others. The result of this, and his employment as an artificer, means that he sees his purpose as being to make himself useful, to serve, to create. He generally prefers to be like a pet, although he is intelligent and can talk; his speech could be considered an advanced form of Lolcat. He is somewhat childish and even silly, but generally is an obliging and sincere creature, quick to learn and eager to please, with simple needs and desires.
Biological Details: Sylderon is a thermovore, meaning that he literally has a fire in his belly, rather than a more conventional digestive system. While perfectly capable of eating regular foodstuffs, he prefers a diet of flammable substances like waste oils, discarded railroad ties, packing crates, and other rubbish (nothing too unclean, though). He also uses this ability to devour and destroy that which offends him.
Special Abilities: Unlike most dragons, Sylderon has no inherent magical abilities and cannot cast spells. However, he can project flames in various sizes, shapes, and colors, from a candle-flame, to a jet capable of cutting through steel, to a ten-foot fireball. He also produces sparks, smoke, and steam, and his breath smells like burning anthracite. In addition, he can generate long-lasting flames by imbuing them with a portion of his life essence, usually for industrial applications. He does this very rarely, though, as it leaves him temporarily weak, until his internal furnace regenerates. This control over fire also allows him to visually see temperatures within five degrees of actual, and to alter his surface temperature.
Naughty Bits: As far as sexual preference, Sylderon considers personality and skill as a lover more important than gender or species. Still, he generally prefers females to males. As far as his own physical attributes...one could certainly say that he is well-equipped, but still in proportion to his size. His shaft is normally hidden, retracting entirely into a ventral pocket, emerging through a genital slit between his hind legs which is normally visible only on close examination. His shaft is a good size compared to his body, sixteen inches long and four inches thick, with the usual draconic arrowhead-shape to the tip.
The ventral pocket also contains some of the numerous glands that produce and store components of his semen, which contains an enormous amount of nutrients and proteins, intended to help nourish a dragoness. As a result, his ejaculate is very thick, warm, creamy, and quite nutritious. He can store up to ten gallons, and can release it all at once if desired.
He is currently rather single, but has recently entered into the service of the very cute and cuddly Virus as her pet.
