Hey all, name's Slix Maru. I'm a fox of the ShadowWalker clan. Haven't been here long but it seems like an interesting place so I thought I'd check it out on my way through. I'm about 5'8" My fur is green over most of my body with my ears, tailtip, and paws black. The fur of my tummy and chest being lighter than the rest of my body. There's a whole lengthy story behind why I'm here instead of with the rest of my clan and why my fur changes colors in the moonlight, going from green to crimson with my ears, tailtip, and paws becoming bone white, but...its long and involved and I won't bore you now. If you're truely interested feel free to message me. I'm often clad in a pair of black leather pants and a black t-shirt with "Stop Bitching, Start a Revolution" on the front in big white letters. There is a single titanium band around the middle finger of my left paw and a woven silver ring around the base of my tail with 2 barely readable words worked into the threads. I also wear a belt made from the timing chain off a harly. I'm usually barefoot but if I need shoes they will be a pair of black combat boots. Oh, and all in all I'm friendly, unless you piss me off...but I'm always up for a snuggle, or more...
I've been kinda busy lately in a few other forums and got tired of explaining exactly what it means to be a ShadowWalker so I'm gonna lay it all out right now. almost all of what I can do is based off darkness/shadow. When I am using any of my abilities, the affected body part becomes covered in strange black symbols that seem to rise right out of my fur, looking almost like tattoos. My clan trains in what we call the Darkwalk. We are able to use shadows as gateways to a realm of pure darkness, simply know as the Dark [creative, no?]. Similarly, we are able to look through shadows and view other places, once again from the perspective of a shadow. The Dark has altered my body slightly, giving me the ability to greatly increase my strength and dexterity, and the ability to control my own body temperature, allowing me to push it to either extreme, generating or absorbing extreme amounts of heat at will. I was also given a spell which by a mage friend of mine that I incoporated into my own body that allows me to breath underwater. While currently this ability requires concentration to maintain, I am rapidly gaining complete control over it.
Another object of note is my belt. It is made from a timing chain from a Harley. A good picture of the belt before I modified it is http://www.coopofdoom.net/images/engine/IM000812.JPG . My belt has a brass rod that I bent into a buckle after removing a pin so I could easily put on or take off the chain. It weighs about 10lbs and is solid steel. And, if any are interested, I make this and other similar items. All you need do is ask.
My name usually bears a P as its prefix, as in P-Slix. This is because, though my name does not actually start with the letter P, I was dubbed an -honorary- P by Pell for services rendered and joined the ranks of Pell, Pyro and the rest. Hopefully this clears up some confusion.
