Shasta Prue, the fighter, the flirt. She was born to a strict but successful family that raised her with a firm hand to teach her true ideals. knowing what she was and what she will have to do later in life. Shasta was a 'variant'. A being with enhanced capabilities that was brought on by the world her people live in. constantly under threat from darker forces, Monsters, creatures and all manner of things that go bump in the night. and so when the young girl turned 10 she was sent to a training academy to teach her the skills she would need to use her abilities properly against these threats. SHe was good, too! Though her more...frivolous nature constantly made her an annoyance rather than a star pupil to her teachers. but she was finally out there! in the world fighting and meeting all manner of people. she's given a regular 'commission' for her fighting creatures that she uses to live. though she also enters fighting matches to get her a bit of walking around money... (Hey, why can't a girl use her superhuman powers for her own gain?~)
Variants are born with several enhancements to their bodies, and some abilities too.
Enhanced Strength: Shasta herself is capable of lifting around 20 tons
Enhanced Speed: Shasta, using her Variant speed. can run at sustained speeds of up to 90 miles per hour.
Enhanced Durability: Shasta's body can take far more punishment than a normal person's
Rapid Healing: Shasta can heal broken bones within a day. cuts heal in a few minutes and she will come back within moments of being knocked unconscious.
Soul Drive: The main weapon Variants have against more 'mystical' threats. Using their soul a Variant can further enhance their body tenfold. create shields and expel physical force in the form of bursts of energy from their hands, legs, or any weapon they can get a hold of, This also allows them to silence their footsteps and resist psychic manipulation or infiltration.
