Born in the darkened back-alleys of a bustling city, Ophelia was raised by her mother who had been abandoned by her father before she had even been born. The product of a drunken reveller and a weak street-urchin, she seemed destined to have no luck whatsoever, but that would be proven wrong. Born under a lucky star, Ophelia is a combination of the albino appearance of her mother, coupled with the strong, sewer-rat genetics of her father. Pure white fur and pretty pink eyes are the first things you would notice about her, the second being the long, black hair cascading down past her shoulders, wavy and perfectly kept, in a gypsy-like style. Several freckle-like marks of black pepper her shoulders and back, and a small, black marking in the shape of a five-pointed star sits just under her right eye on her cheek.
Unfortunately, Ophelia's mother died while she was still young, leaving her to her own means of survival. Picking up skills here and there, from the mystical arts of tarot reading, to simple potion-making, to sultry, erotic dancing, she managed to make her way through life quite happily. An independant female with a strong soul and warm personality, she has a fondness for those who are outcast, taking on a maternal instinct to look after them. As she grew up, her figure developed into that of a curvacious young woman, who's looks charmed more than one male into giving her somewhere warm to shelter for the night. Supple legs and curvy hips, with a slim waist and generous breasts more than make up for her small stature, standing only at five foot three. She speaks with a broad and thick Italian accent, yet pronounces her words well enough to be understood, putting sentences together in an often broken fashion, making sense however.
She often sits alone upon entering a new place, if only to get her bearings, and she lets people come to her rather than the other way around. She wears long, flowing skirts and cropped, gypsy-styled linen shirts with poofy sleeves and intricate embroidery. Many bangles are worn on her wrists, and anklets adorn her ankles, with large, silver, hooped earrings decorating her ears, this often insures that she jangles pleasently whenever she moves! She usually carries a patchwork satchel, made from squares of different kinds of fine material, from silks to velvet, to linens and cotton. Inside this bag she keeps numerous assorted items, most of which she only reveals when necessary.
