Lotus Throne Room of House Nelumbo Nucifera
As the light floods into the throne room, the white stone of the walls appears to give off a humming glow while the attendents and guests file in, he red silk drapes flowing as the gentle breeze caught them, causing each to billow slightly. The equally white stone throne was raised off the ground by about five feet, as several wide steps that lead to the throne were adorned by small zabutons for the few inner members of the Kingqueen's court to set, and one lone zabuton for the consort, which was green and gold. The colors of the seats with matching armrest matched the red silk of the drapes, down to the gold thread that had lotus crest of the KingQueens' hand sewn in. The purple and black silk pillow and blankets that softened the throne for the royalty was a clash in the red silk that hung from the ceiling, however it was widely known that the Kingqueen accepted the mixing as their consort liked the coloring.
At night the torches flickered with a lively light blue flame, their tips a purer white than the stone walls, while a deep omber core aided in keeping the room aglow. Each torch was fitted with ornate golden shutters to cast their dancing light about the room, keeping the room illuminated until the Kingqueen retired to their chamber.
