Elizabeth Brairs - Librarian and Child of the Black Goat

Elizabeth's parents were from Goatswood, in the Severn Valley. This accursed town lies beneath the protection of Shub-Niggurath, the Black Goat of the Woods With a Thousand Young. Every member of the village prostrates themselves before this entity, and especially the avatar know as the Keeper of the Moon Lens. However, there are lesser avatars and sub-cults in the area, including that of the Child of the Black Goat.
A hereditary position, bestowed unbroken from female to female across the centuries, this position of high priestess endows the ability to take the form of a powerful avatar of the Black Goat. While nowhere near as powerful as the cult of the Keeper, this sub-cult has the support of a number of locals, as well as some adherents from around the valley and beyond.
Elizabeth and her twin sister Tabitha were born in a time of some significant political upheaval in the area, and their birth of twin girls to the Child of the Black Goat was seen as an ill omen. Her parents fled the valley under the pretence of a pilgrimage as part of a deal with various factions in the area, calming some of the unrest. As a result of this, the two children were raised in nearby Britchester, and even attended universities (an almost unheard of event for the notoriously clannish Goatswood brood). It was during their growth that their parents realised that Tabitha would make the most appropriate Child, as Elisabeth showed very little if any skill or interest in the worship of Shub-Niggurath. However, as the hour approached for the ceremony in which the power of the High Priestess hood would be transferred, the unthinkable happened; Tabbitha was killed in a car accident.
The cult took the only option available; they made Elizabeth return home, drugged and kidnapped her, and then performed the ritual. As she had not been as exposed to the Mythos as her sister, the highly incestuous ritual, combined with her sudden transformation into the howling Child shattered her sanity, causing her to develop split-personality syndrome to cope with the sanity-crushing experience. All Mythos related activity (past and present) was thrust into the personality of Tabitha, while she her mind constructs an elaborate fantasy world to fill in the occasional gaps in her memory.
In her usual form, Elizabeth is a shy, thin woman with bobbed brown hair. She is around 6ft tall, and is occasionally shunned by the older residents of the area for her subtle touch of Goatswood features. For example, her ears (which are usually covered by her hair) are slightly pointed, and she is able to wiggle them slightly, and with more skill than most pure-blooded humans. Her hair is also course and wiry, which is why she tries to keep it cut short. As she tends to flip over to Tabitha after work, she is usually only seen in her work cloths, an unflattering white shirt and pair of slightly scuffed black trousers. Under her clothing she bears a large, oval 'witch mark' on her hip. As a now partially occult creature she seems to become aroused in the presence of magic, which makes her scared and confused as well, an unstable combination that tends to cause her to transform.
Elizabeth works in the Britchester Library as the senior librarian.

Tabitha Briars - High Priestess and Psychological Crutch

Constructed from fragmented memories and all the accumulated Mythos knowledge of Elizabeth, Tabitha is now a distinct personality in her own right. She 'lives' with Elizabeth in the same house, in a separate set of rooms. The two communicate through notes on the fridge, text messages and answering machine messages, although the occasional 'voices in the head' argument session accompanied by hallucinations does take place every now ad again, if only to preserve the fragile illusion that they are different people.
The Goatswood cult had no problem accepting this strange arrangement; they simply assumed that Tabitha's soul took up residence in Elizabeth's body, and just await for her to manifest before they bring up any Mythos subjects. This was after the mistaken attempt to converse with Elisabeth on the subject, which caused the manifestation of the Child, and the destruction of the railway station.
Tabitha is a powerful priestess, and quite capable of casting many Mythos magical spells. She also commands the loyalty of a small number of Goatswood cultists, and has a number of lovers around the globe, with whom she spawned creatures in exchange for magical artifacts or knowledge.
Tabitha is, obviously, the double of Elizabeth. However, between her slight northern accent, and other subtle pointers in the way she walks, moves and acts, everyone is more than happy with the 'twin' story. (as a side note, while her breasts are the same size then in Tabitha mode, the fact she sticks them out a little more and does a little more to draw attention to them makes them seem a little larger) When working at the Library (different shifts to Elizabeth of course) she tends to unbutton a couple of buttons of her shirt, sweep her ears back and other such little changes that make her distinct in the minds of others from her sister. She is also an outrageous flirty and man-eater. Indeed, she is the 'relaxation' portion of Elizabeth's mind; while she 'spends the evening with a book' Tabitha goes on the prowl to pick up men and/or women for evenings of debauched fun (not forgetting the note complaining about the noise from Elizabeth on the fridge). She also orgasms when casting spells, leading to her habit of casting sanity-scraping illusions on her partners during sex to heighten her own pleasure at their expense.
Elizabeth works part time at the library, but mostly 'stays at home.'

The Child of the Black Goat - Horrific Avatar of Shub-Niggurath

Resembling in outline an anthropomorphic goat, the Child is a nine-foot tall hermaphrodite horror. It is covered in a thick layer of black, wiry fur, and sticks of sexual desire and nauseating, musky corruption. The Child has a pair of jet black goat-like horns and cloven hooves, however, both are made from a semi-translucent crystal as opposed to horn. Beyond these key points, the outer nature of the avatar is clearly shown.
The goat-like muzzle of the Child is filled with a double row of seemingly randomly-jutting shark-like fangs, which are usually covered in a thick layer of pale foam as it gnashes them together in heat and fury. The body is powerfully built, with bulging muscles and iron-cable sinew shifting beneath the fur. The thing's breasts are huge, impossibly firm globes. From hir crotch juts hir shaft, at least a foot long and thick with pulsing veins. it never goes down until the transformation reverses. The thick head twitches and sputters a thin drizzle of creamy, musky seed all the time. Hir balls hand heavy and pendulous between hir digigrade legs, always taught and throbbing with hir potent seed. A little further down than where they are usually located is the things female sex, which is always wet to the point of drooling onto the floor.
The Child, like the Black Goat that spawned it, has only two drives; breed and accept sacrifices. To this end, when it manifests it will grab the closes living creature and attempt to rut it, breaking its limbs and wrestling it into submission if needs be. The condition of the victim is entirely inconsequential to it; if they die they die, shi really does not care. If it is presented with a sacrifice, or finds that its quarry resists so much that it is forced to fight, then it will attempt to rend the being apart and eat it. This seems to bring the Child as much sexual satisfaction as the first option.
It would take an immensely powerful creature to make the Child submissive enough to be mated, although the Goatswood cult, and Tabitha, are aware of a spell that renders the creature passive. The result of this union is always a twisted abomination that is valuable as a sacrifice or a familiar. It should be noted that the same can be said of any female that survives an encounter with the Child. Whichever hole it ruts the victim will give birth to a mewling creature within a week or two of painful pregnancy. Males can be made to give birth this way if forced to swallow enough of the Child's seed, as the creature gestates in the stomach before burrowing out of forcing the host to throw it up.
