XL/Feral Appearance: It is hard to judge this massive wolf's full height with precision as his natural stance is slightly crouched, but it could easily be eight feet, or even more. despite his size, he moves both smoothly and with little noise, the movements those of one both aware of and at ease with his body and its needs. His fur is a mix of shades, a sort of brown-grey predominating through most of his pelt, paling to tans across stomach, chest, and throat, and darkening to salt-and-pepper black over neck and shoulders and back. His coat is thickest where it is darkest, partly obscuring the precise outline of his body that elsewhere is clearly visible under shorter, sleeker fur.
He has the build not of a body builder who has carefully sculpted each muscle for maximum visibility and contrast, but the mix of lean lines and swelling bulk that comes from repeated hard use, sharp lines of definition coming and going beneath his coat with every movement. Accentuating the shift and play is a tight, long-sleeved mesh top of black nylon with a relatively loose weave, creating a diamond pattern over his upper body.
His lower body is equally powerful, thickly-muscled thighs straining against the confines of black glove-leather pants that actually increase the visibility of his body's shape by covering his coat in a smooth second skin that's both thin and tight enough to reveal every line of muscle from thigh to calf, where they end just above the beginning of his massive digitigrade paws. The tight clothing increases the visibility of other things, too, and the heavy triple bulge of sheath and sac, large even on the scale on which the rest of him is made, stands out so clearly that it looks as if it should be painful, though the wolf's calm expression and relaxed body language shows no sign of discomfort.
Other than the black mesh top and leather pants, the wolf's only adornments are a single bracer of dull metal lined with padded leather he wears about his right wrist and a single silver ear clip,spiral-etched, wrapped about the first inch or so of the outer edge of his left ear. The bracer is more functional than decorative and bears a reinforced, swivelling D-ring to which he keeps any leash or chain he might need attached.
Despite his size, the bulk of his build, the sharp and surprisingly prominent claws appending from his huge paws, and the obvious strength of the muscles that power his broad muzzle and its full complement of teeth, the wolf's overall mein is one of relaxation, almost serenity. His large, deep-set blue-grey eyes can seem worn or fatigued, but they stay both expressive and slightly narrowed in what seems like a twinkle of wry, detached amusement, an emotion echoed in the cast of his lips. Depite the distance in those eyes, his attention is very much rooted in the present, and his ears are always pricked or shifting to catch the smallest noises, eyes moving steadily to catch what's around him, discarding most of it and ready to snap onto something of note with an almost unnerving level of focus.
Normal Appearance: Standing a bit over six feet tall, this wolf has the frame of someone used to long hours of labor, long-limbed and leanly muscled. His grey-brown fur is well-kempt for the most part, save for a few unruly tufts around his ears and cheek-ruffs and although his blue-grey eyes seem a bit worn they are still expressive and usually warm, although with a slight squint or twinkle that seems to hint at a certain degree of detached and wry amusement.
He wears a loose-fitting black shirt of some slick and faintly reflective material that -looks- like spandex but drapes over his shoulders as thinly and lightly as satin. A vest of OD nylon mesh and webbing hangs open above that, about half of its many pockets bulging and hanging heavy. A broad black rigger's belt secures the OD BDU bottoms that cover most of his lower body, the large thigh and smaller calf pockets bulging, the knees seeming oddly rigid as if thin foam kneepads were actually sewn into the material. The pants billow slightly, bloused just above large, bare, digitigrade paws with neat double bows, their ends tucked back up into the pant legs. He moves with a sort of careful purpose, his eyes almost always moving, arms swinging easily, fingers loose and slightly curved, the body language of someone simultaneously aware of and at ease with their body.
