Description: Erebus is a winged black panther, standing at just about 7 feet tall; his wings spread to over 12 feet wide. His thick tail extends almost as long as his body. His age is a mystery, as is much of his origin. What is known is that his parents were well educated, and named him after the Greek god of darkness and shadow. He is very intelligent, and loves to read. His muscular build, a result of years of warrior training, belies his gentle ways. He uses it only for defense, and follows the path of the druid, a wielder of the simple magicks of nature. He has a vast knowledge of herbalism, and often carries a small pouch of natural remedies for common ailments. He is an accomplished healer, and draws from the power of the earth around him for energy.
Other Features: He has golden yellow eyes, or rather, one eye; he lost his left eye to a wild animal when he was young. In it's place is a blood red runestone, which is covered by a thin gray membrane. A long scar extends through the eye, and has been worked into the patterns of a druidic rune that decorates that side of his face, placed there for protection. It, as well as the stone in his eye, glow when he casts certain spells, or when there is great danger nearby.
Clothes: Erebus lives simply, and his clothing is no exception. He wears only a loincloth, his thick fur sufficient covering for the rest of his body.
Jewelry: A thin silver coil bracelet wraps around his left bicep three times; from it hangs a rare orange sapphire, another rune used in his magicks. He also wears a leather necklace with a wing and a cross hanging from it, a gift from the beautiful Aramais.
He now wears a ring, given to him by his mate for their anniversary, with a mystical blue stone. The stone sparkles with energy, a representative sample of her love for him.
