One being representative of a species of brachial-strain (also known as humanoid in Via Lactea) sentient life, originally inhabiting and hailing from a planet called by a name that translates phonetically to 'Elori'. The people are called Veei, or Veeus plural. Their evolution is of interest, for these calm people evolved from a more violent, six-limbed form. Now, however, they are slow to anger and violence and are welcomed in most solar systems. This one, Eoul, is a member of the Galactic military, but her people, when not dressed for battle, do not clothe themselves for protection or status- in fact, higher-ranking individuals are more bared, showing that they are so well-regarded and important that they have nothing to fear from strangers. Eoul appears in her body suit or nothing else.
Elori's atmosphere is quite different than Earth's and as such is used to a different gas composition and much higher UV rays. There is an internal respirator implanted in her system.
The creature's physiology is... consistent but variable. They are able to compress themselves into a stronger, shorter, thicker form than their regular willowy shape. Her skin is nearest to mauve, somewhat translucent at the thinner membranes. However, it is common for Veei to release a violet pigment in their skin at will, giving them color anywhere from a muted purple to a solid, matte black. It is easiest in this form to see the individual patterns of light on the skin of their head and spine- once thought to be bio-luminescence, but now known to be a form of photophores. Generally, Eoul stands between four foot nine and up to six and a third feet tall. Overall, the skull shape is infantile in proportion, when compared to a human. Large eye sockets, small nasal passages, more room for the brain.. however, examination of the jaw reveals it's large capacity for damage. They do not have singular teeth, but rather two arches of two rows of serrated bone that is smooth towards the front. Their eyes are large but appear calm and lidded, swirling in pearlescent shades of blue, purple and copper, without a discernible iris or pupil- completely translucent. Upon their head, several thick tentacles about 2-3 feet in length, once used to trap victims to their jaws to be consumed. There is capacity for them to be poisonous, but for social reasons the Veei do not tend to resort to this. The first digit on their long hands is the longest, and their thumb holds a curved nail. They stand on a somewhat tripodal arrangement of five toes. Overall, their shape and muscle structure is similar upon first glance to a human's, yet anatomically speaking there are some glaring differences as far as the placement. Also of note is Eoul's reproductive system, which can only be described from a more human standpoint as... exhilarating.
The creatures communicate in a range of noises similar to warbling, twittering, humming, buzzing and other manner of glottal undulations that sound downright mechanical at times, and like whale song at others. However, she always has a translator on her.

Eoul left the tub at a point, to engage in guerrilla warfare among a Skol ship, seeking the bridge and killing the Captain with the aid of her ally, A'harou'a. Wounded, she left him to escape to her cadre of radicals, while she herself flew to the Skol homeword, apparently with the intention to bring death to the Skol leaders in their capitol. ...Nothing of her was heard after that, for her control ship reported that her communicator, suit feedback, and even escape pod tracking had all been disabled...
However, she returned some time later, her ship having crashed into the far-end of the tub. Her memories are still intact, though they seem separated from her current consciousness. Her translator is long gone, and for this, A'harou'a has constructed a crude translator that will let her communicate, for the time being. Her average height is some two feet taller than before, though most of her features and colorations have not changed.
However, she bears a smaller pair of vestigial arms, each with four fingers and no thumb, the digits short (but the two center digits far shorter, there being a single whiplike keratin strand coming from the tip, normally hidden against the length of the forearm). Her pseudodigits seem to have lengthened some, and there is now a longer extension. Sometimes it looks like a simple tail extending from the end of her sacrum. However, it seems to be able to peel away and thicken, normally extending out at midback, but apparently actually being attached at the nape of her neck, at the juncture of skull and neck.

The new Veeus form seems to have stabilized, and has been researched. The mechanism of the evolution is better understood currently, and there have been several successful cases of replicating this process in other Veei. However, there are more failures, some of them fatal. The Court Martial ordered in response to the unauthorized action against the Skol was rescinded, and Eoul was returned her honors, though does not actively serve, at this moment. It is theorized, and echoed by the being, that evolution has not stopped, for the female.

The patterns of photophores on her body is somewhat changed, but as they are rarely seen anyway, this is hardly notable.
