Dyna was born in Missouri where she grew up admiring her FBI father and Green Beret mother. In such a household, she was expected to be physically and mentally fit, thus she exceled in both athletics and academics, graduating at the top of her class. After high school, she enlisted in the Special Forces, hoping to make her parents proud. However, she soon returned home after she learned that her father had been murdered while investigating a new crime syndicate, one with ties with not only the criminal underworld, but also various terrorist organizations. This shadowy group, known only as the Conclave, was a threat to both United States and the Soviet Union. Because of her skill, Dyna joined the FBI after leaving the military.
