Carmella Ingold was born under a quite average family on the planet Terra in the Sol system. Her father worked under the company Sol Space Engineering as a spaceflight engine service and design technician, dealing with the production and design of components for the transfer of volatile chemicals and waste. Her mother was a stay at home mom, due to the fact her father was in such a high risk environment at nearly all times.
Her genetic.. situation comes from a mutation to one of the genetic chromosome pairs dealing with gender, having an offshoot that dictates both male and female development. This was caused by her father's spermatozoa being altered by a certain frequency of light radiation he was exposed to during his day to day activities in the test and service of faster-than-light Drives.
When she was young, her father was killed and mother kidnapped by a certain Jules Graves, a jealous ex husband of her mother's who happened to be bitten by a lycanthropic fox off world. He left the young 6 year old to fend for herself after he bit, and ultimately, turned her into a lycanthrope. He, being a class 7, about 8 feet in height or so and of middle build, transferred a rare, but not ultimate strain of Lycanthropy to the young herm. This indeed made her a class 9, nearly 10 and a half feet tall when fully developed, effectively almost doubling her height from her human form at adulthood, in almost every single way other than raw strength.
A few years she wandered the streets, often fully transformed even at a young age, almost 6 feet in height, transformed of course, by then. She was finally discovered by an aspiring young scientist named Dr. Hoen who had developed a somewhat reliable way of stabilizing the lycanthropic’s mind to enable them conscious activity even while transformed, rather than having them a ravenous, instinct driven beast. He fashioned his prototype into a collar for the young girl. This proved too non-flexible and broke on the first transformation, but as long as it remained in proximity of her nervous system, she was still able to control her actions.
Her transformations only happened on extreme emotional distress which quickly grew to be a problem, Hard time holding a steady place of employment. She could hardly become fully high school educated without transforming. Nonetheless, she did make it at least that far. Her lack of actual parenting quickly made her develop into a rebel of sorts after high school, due to the fact that Hoen was only interested in her for her experiment value. She quickly left from under his figurative wing, and as a parting gift, he gave her a perfected control bracelet, adjustable to her larger, transformed form. This did not come cheaply, and he made her vow to pay him back some day.
Quickly she decided to become a part of law enforcement, but soon she realized that would not work out the way she had originally anticipated, for the rigorous stressful environment quickly started to wear at her, and she started to transform in less than controlled situations, severely injuring a few fellow trainees in exercises.
She turned to the freelance bounty hunting gig after years of attempting to finish system police academy, and this proved to be quite a good decision for the young werevixen. In dangerous situations she often transformed, and this gave her an edge in a firefight. She continues this method of employment to this date.
Like all Lycanthropes, She regenerates from injury rapidly, often healing lacerations within a few moments of the injury. Also, Posesses a great weakness to silver, the metal poisonous to the most extreme levels to her and the rest of the lycanthropic beings.
