Physical Description:
Bodkin is tall, even for a horse, standing 13 feet (not including ears). Like all subjects shi has responded to the gene-coding and other treatments by developing physically; Bodkin's musculature has doubled since the project's outset, and the modifications should keep that from degrading without extreme lack of resources consumed. Aside from stature, Bodkin is fairly typical of hir species; medium-brown (chestnut) fur and lighter mane, growing long around hir forearms and calves. Sexual characteristics are, while significant, also standard for species and size; Caution should be exercised for intimate relations between the subject and smaller individuals. Before release, Bodkin will be marked with a barcode tag (Tag # 14) between hir shoulder blades; appropriate mental blocks will prevent the subject from being aware of this marking (tattoo rendering) on any level.

Bodkin responds well to the mental conditioning and programming; the removal of hir old personality was an important step, as it is with all subjects of the program. A potential side effect of this personality structure is a tendency toward submissiveness; this should not be a concern. Bodkin is a cheerful, if somewhat shy girl, quite happy to help others in any way shi can. Shi is quite powerful, and often feels comfortable performing labor-intensive tasks. Shi does not know where shi comes from, having simply woken one day to find hirself lying in a field, hir bow by hir side and a pack of supplies lying nearby. While shi certainly acknowledges that this is strange, it doesn't bother hir too much. Since then, shi has wandered around quite a bit, going wherever hir talents are needed; shi has served as carpenter, farm hand, mechanic, and engineer assistant; hir skills with hir longbow and the special arrows shi makes for them have also led to hir occasional employment as a freelance mercenary from time to time, typically as a bodyguard or in small action.
Shi is friendly around others, but shy (although hir personality can change alarmingly when drinking). Shi can also be quite naive sometimes, especially when it comes to slang or vernacular.
Bodkin is usually dressed in hard-wearing clothes, typically a pair of rugged jeans or canvas cargo pants and a green shirt (whose sleeves didn't survive trying to fit around hir brawny arms). Shi wears hir mane somewhat long, although keeps it trimmed to keep it from getting unruly, and has hir tail in a neat braid.
