He grew up on a farm with a large family of large lions, as secluded as a group of individuals could get in their middle-of-nowhere plot of land, in a nation thought eradicated, on a continent lost to myth, on a planet orbiting a sun spiraling a galaxy drifting in a universe of a dimension so distant from its kindred dimensions, it acts as little more than a foot-note in the Heavenly Manuscripts of Celestial Bodies. Nothing happened there. Ever. Not since the inscription of the beginning of Time or any Time before that, after that, or parallel thereof. Except one thing. The family of lions act as sole heir to a lineage so terrible, it sparked war across the Veil Dividing Existences for eons, traveling from one solitary user to the next, growing stronger with each subsequent generation until the gods themselves feared for their very essence... And one man, one link in the chain whose very birth baffles diviners and philosophers alike, acted against his fathers and chose against his destiny, fought the sentient entity which the power itself formed to dictate its will, and started one last war to end the conflict. As a final act to seal the power, he entrusted the gift to his loyal servant, a leonine Beastman, infusing him with the final vestiges of the power and sent him away to eternal obscurity. And so he lived for generations, thousands of years on the same plot of land, raising his children and watching them pass, forever acting as the guard against the power's release. Elijah Nigel Heart, Jr., father of Elijah Bartholomew Heart, taught his sons the use of magic to keep it tethered to their lineage, active only in the caster's homeland. Now, we have Bart, the youngest brother of the 817th Heart Generation, whisked away by a failed experiment as he tried to turn corn into raisin bread, and landed in a strange multiverse, with little more to his name than a waist-bound robe and his favorite armored grieves. Try he might to duplicate what fell him, he finds that he can do little more than scry in the best of situations, and if he's lucky, he might be able to snap-and-reflect spells. That is, at least, what Bart tells everyone; more likely, it's all hogwash dreamt up to make life a little brighter. Being a particularly large fellow (though the runt of his litter), Bart finds himself a good head and shoulders above the crowd, broad across the chest with thick limbs. His mane is a bountiful bushel of butterscotch-gold that wraps around his head like a boa and trails down his torso like a scarf, tucking haphazardly into his crotch. Life on the farm has made his muscle tough and hardened, but his love of sweets, meats, and oils has kept his fur plush and shiny. He's typically withdrawn, unless he sees an opening for his hit-or-miss witticisms, in which case he'll attempt to get a laugh. He's quite private, preferring to speak one-on-one about anything above a greeting or news of the day, and isn't one to suffer small talk (such a waste of time). He does like hugging, on occasion, and also enjoys sexual pleasuring, being a fan of fellatio and cunnilingus and excessive juices; he also enjoys penetration, but hesitates if asked to present. Living in a less-than-magical world, Bart found himself drawn to work at a local library, where knowledge is stored and curiosities abound; when not at this quiet job, he lends himself out to manual labor, so to keep his memories of his brothers and father alive by working his muscles. He also makes damn good raisin bread, along with other pastreys and sandwiches. ~ Alrighty, time for some OOC explanation: I will converse with you delightfully, but I will remain picky about my sex partners; namely, I will shy away (or push away, depending on degree of persistance) from those people who are "helpless maidens" or "overconfident heroes", I can appreciate timidness and daring, but there's a point where it simply annoys. Good chance I'll approach you with a post of some kind if you picque my curiosity, and then judge you according by how you respond. Here we have an alternate image of Bart drawn by Cursed Mark, and some editting by myself. Enjoy. This delightful depiction was drawn by the talented Panda Lover, showing Bart as a summoned demon. |
