Among many manifestations of the elementals of fire, such as the phoenix, or salamander, is the firemare.
Arridiatta is 5 feet high at the shoulder, her coat a dark charcoal grey, constantly smouldering, flickering with flamelets of orange and blue, her mane and hooves always alight with unnatural fire. Where the breeze moves across her, a modest shower of ashes float forth, and where water meets her, steam billows.
Eyes bright as the belly of a forge, with a gaze that is difficult to meet without squinting, she appears nonetheless cheerful, and radiates a welcome warmth even at a distance. Still, it is made all too clear that within her heart is the ravenous spirit of the inferno, ever burning.
