Aegeus is far from an normal armadillo. One night, as he wandered about, Aegeus stumbled upon an ancient ruin, which had waited for a life form to find it for ages long past, and released a great energy, or spirit. This spirit was once a powerful guardian of realms, using protective magic and valor to defend those who could not. And so at last, it found something to gift that power to, and continue that task. The little creature and that ancient power merged, becoming one new being; Aegeus.
He stands at a tall six feet, with a broad chest and shoulders. His limbs are slender but compact with muscular definition befitting his weight and height. At the tips of his toes and fingers are short black claws, able to slash through stone and decently in metal. A tail also topside-covered in plating, long and slender is sometimes seen moving about behind him. Perhaps most notice the creature has fiery orange eyes, gazing from the shaded earth-brown skin that covers his body; however, the most noteworthy feature is the plating that covers his shoulders, from nose tip along the top of his head, and retractable plates along his back. Due to the ancient magic infused in his body, these plates are unbreakable, and can withstand the most extreme of environments (i.e. ice, lava, etc.). He can curl himself into a perfect, armoured sphere and roll about at an astounding speed, smashing through obstacles as needed. Those details aside, he wears a soft smile on his snout most of the time, and covering his vulnerable underside is a pair of worn, faded jeans on his legs. A necklace hangs about his neck, with an obsidian ring, and an ancient symbol made from silver in the center.
Aegeus has the ability to manipulate “earth”, such as sand, stone, etc. It takes greater effort the denser and larger the source of mineral, but the ability is there, when he feels threatened or convinced he needs to use it.
While he may seem intimidating and his name unfriendly, his heart is warm and his friendship is given freely, and he wishes no harm to anyone and only to seek and help who he can.
